USSJA MEMO

 

Saturday December 2, 2006, senior members of the United States Sport Jujitsu Association {USSJA} met to discuss future plans for the organization. At this meeting a new President was voted in.

Ernie Boggs (WV) nominated Eric Latza of Mt. Airy, NC. - John Delvecchio (NY) seconded the motion and Mr. Latza was unanimously voted in. 

 

Eric Latza is one of the original Sport Jujitsu pioneers participating in the trials and tribulations which helped it become a viable sport as well as contributed immensely to the growth.  He is a two-time sport jujitsu world champion, a martial arts Hall of Fame member, an exceptional martial arts instructor, a loving father and very good friend.

Congratulations Shihan Latza as I look forward to assisting you in reestablishing the USSJA Sport Jujitsu program as the premiere martial arts competition it once was.
