The Kumite Classic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling Tournament returns to the Pittsburgh Expo Mart in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, May 28, as part of the Pittsburgh Sports and Fitness Expo. The well respected western Pennsylvania tournament has grown each year since its inception, and 2005 is expected to be the best to date. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling was introduced 3 years ago and has featured a No-Gi Super Fight each year. Competitor registration tripled going into the second year as word of mouth proved to be the best source of marketing. Also in 2004, the Sports and Fitness Expo introduced natural bodybuilding through Musclemania, and offered powerlifting, a boxing exhibition, arm wrestling, hip hop dancing, demonstrations and nearly 100 vendors. The Radisson Monroeville will host competitors at a discounted rate. Check out www.KumiteClassic.com for more information.
