I check this notice, the true about this is, americans need to get visa to enter in brazil, and when you arriving you need to fingerprinting/photographing . I had go from airport to see the procedure today and it's very fast ( same when we arriving in USA). I will send the official invitation for you , the procedure it's ,you need to contact the brazilian consulate , live the invitations and documents ( passport etc..) and recive the visa ( I talked with americans arriving in the airport, and his tell me with is easy to get the visa), about the yellow fever vacin, you recive this on the airport.Sorry the inconvinient, but my stupid government stay using the reciprocity - the same procedure with the countries using for brazilians arriving in other countries, the problem is , brasil don't have the same problem with the other countries, terrorism , etc... . If you need more details please tell me, but the procedure in brazil to arriving it's fast and normal.
