The American Fighter Tournament
The goal is easy... to find America's Ultimate Fighter.
In the 8 weeks between August 2, 2003, and September 20, 2003, promoters in Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, Submission Grappling and MMA from across the country will combine their efforts to lay the ground work in determining America's Ultimate Fighter. On Saturday, August 16, 2003, the American Fighter Tournament visits Pennsylvania and Victory at Valley Forge.
To qualify to be America's Ultimate Fighter, all you need to do is enter and win the "No-Gi Men's Advanced Middleweight Division," which in turn will earn you the right to advance to the finals qualifier -- a national voting and discussion forum.
At the end of the 8-weeks of qualifiers, the winners will be given between 4 to 6 weeks to rest and prepare for the finals. During this rest period, BADBREED TV will market each of the winners and allow national voting and discussions on the eligible winners. From the pool of eligible winners, 8 will be selected by website and automated phone voting. Each finals winner will be provided with travel and accommodations to the finals location.
The finals is an 8-Man MMA tournament to take place under the MMA Unified Rules of Conduct (with the exception of a ring, not a cage), where the winner will earn $10,000.00 in cash & prizes.
Along the way, BADBREED TV will provide ongoing coverage and close-up profiles of those striving to become America's Ultimate Fighter.
