As most of you know we have some money left over from the season.  We think it
would be good to use it to get the girls to a camp together.  There is a
individual camp at UK June 28-30.  It is for middle school girls, grades 7-9 (we
will sneek Brook in).  I think it would be excellent for the girls to get some
quality individual instuction at their respective positions, especially at this
age.  In the future they will probably all be playing team ball at team camps. 
The Queens have approximately $1,400 to put toward the camp.  The cost is $140
for day camping, and $200 for overnight.  I think the girls to would enjoy
staying overnight.  Even if everyone goes, we have enough money to cover nearly
the entire cost for everyone.  We may each have to kick a small amount.

Or just see me or Amy Leach and we can give you the application.  Fill it out
and return it to Amy.  Once we have all the applications we will know how many
are going and can see what the total cost is.  Also if everyone goes, my hope is
that I can get UK to give us a break on the total price.
This money is for the girls and their basketball.  I hope they all can go and
not only improve their game, but have a good time.

This weekend we play a Madison Middle School.  We are tenatively scheduled to
play Saturday at 9am, 11am and 2pm.  The tournament will be on Sunday.

We play Friday night at 7pm at Clark Co. Middle School vs Montgomery Co. 7th.
We play again Saturday morning at 8am vs Clark Co. 6th and again at 2pm vs Casey
Co.  Both of these games are at Clark Co. High School.
The tournament starts at 4pm.
The teams in are:  Jessamine, Clark 7th, Lincoln, Madison, Clark, Casey,
Montgomery 7th, Bath.

I think I mistakenly told some people it was at 2 this week.

I know I said Saturday that we would practice Monday, but I have a meeting
Monday night.  We will practice Tuesday at BCMS.  No practice Thursday.  We play
Saturday in West Carter.

March 21 2pm vs West Carter 6th
March 28 3:15pm vs East Carter 7th
April 4 5:45pm vs West Carter 6h
April 11 10:15am vs East Carter 6th
          12:45pm vs Fleming 7th

Practice Thursday 6 pm at either the High School or Middle School.  If the High
School is available we will play at the high school, if not we will play at the
Middle.

We play Saturday at 12:45 at West Carter vs East Carter 6th grade.  I've
requested that the game time be moved up so we could go to watch the region
tourney.  So I was told that East will be there ready to play at 12:15 and we
will tip off as soon as the earlier game is over.  So everyone be there ready to
play by 12:15.

Also, remember I need every parent to fill out an entry form and an make a copy
of their medical insurance card to play at West Carter.  Please have that for me
Thursday at practice.

Our schedule sucks.
Our pool consists of Estill Co., Fleming Co., Northern Ky Jaguars.
We play Friday at 6 pm vs Estill Co. and at 8 pm vs Northern Ky.
We play Saturday morning at 8 am vs Fleming Co.  Then we are done
until the tournament which is Sunday.
All games are at Cunningham Gym located at 4050 Georgetown Road,
Lexington Kentucky.  I don't know anything more about the location,
i.e. what school Cunningham Gym is part of or anything.  If anyone
knows let me know.

Sorry I am so late getting this info out.  However, I've been all day
trying to find a gym.  Upward at the High School and Jr Pro at the
Middle School.

High School boys and girls are away and upward is tonight so the High
School should be open.
Casy County won the tournament last weekend.  They won the
championship game by 6.  We played them the closest of anyone.

BC boys play at home at the high school and Jr pro is at the Middle
school so we will be at Salt Lick.

It looks like the girls varsity is playing so we will practice at the middle
school

I've got a group rate at the Holiday Inn Express in Campbellsville.
One room with 2 queen size beds $75, regular $95.  It will be
approximately 6 miles from the Taylor County Middle School, where we
will be playing.
The number to the Hotel is 270-465-2727.  When you call tell them you
are with the "Bath County Queens."  You will be given the discount and
your room with be with the group.
The team has already reserved 3 rooms for the girls.  They will stay 4
to a room.  Those rooms will be paid with Queens money.  Any parents,
siblings etc that are going and want to stay will need to call and get
their rooms.  I would suggest that families double up on rooms.
Husbands could stay in one and wives in another.

There is a small chance that we may play in Clark County.  The Clark
County Coach is trying to find a gym now.

The school has shut down use of all of the gyms through the weekend.
This goes for the varsity teams as well.  Which means as of now our
games this weekend are cancelled as well.  However, I won't call the
other teams until tommorrow just in case there is a change.
