This is the Official Website for the weekly NYC Central Park Ultimate Frisbee Pick-up game.

The New York Central Park Pick-up game is geared to anyone who wants to play Ultimate: Men, Women, Experienced, or New Players -- Everyone is welcome!

SUMMER SEASON IS HERE!! Games are played on Saturday and Sunday beginning around 2:30 PM.

The Field is on 98th street directly off of 5th Avenue in Central Park.

There is also a "secret" game held on a beautiful grass field that can be reached by taking the 59th street TRAM.


Some important highlights about the NYC Central Park Ultimate game and this Yahoo Group:

- "Stall count" and other Official Ultimate Rules are enforced in order to encourage players to experience Ultimate the way it is meant to be played. This also creates a safer and more competitive environment that pushes individuals to excel in their game and reach higher potential.

- Selection of teams, subs, etc. are done on a Democratic basis -- everyone has their say.

- Games are played under ALL Weather Conditions. "Snowltimate" is a reality during the winter months.

- Emphasis is placed on promoting a fun and welcoming environment. "Spirit of the Game" is key!!!

- This nycUltimate Group is open to all Yahoo group members. All participants are free to add photos, links, suggestions, etc. This is a REAL COMMUNITY. Also, any Polls taken will be publicly disclosed for integrity and fairness.

- Games are co-ed and women are encouraged to bring their friends.

- Everyone is expected to do their fair share of "subbing out", except of course for Hunt who has received special exemption from this rule.
