MASCOTS is a mailing list for COUPLES who ride tandem bicycles and who would like to join other tandem teams for group rides. Postings are generally used only to inform subscribers when tandem rides, rallies or social events are being held that may be of interest. MASCOTS is an acronym for Moving Around Southern California On Tandems. The list was created in 2001 and subscribers are cycling enthusiasts who have discovered the enjoyment, excitement, and camaraderie of riding bicycles built for two (or more) who live in and around Los Angels, California. By design, MASCOTS is not an official club, does not collect dues, have by-laws, or have a leadership structure.
