The Press Press Group is a coalition of boxing media outlets, comprised of magazine, newspaper and internet website authors, beat writers and boxing leaders. This group seeks to reform boxing, implement standardized medical testing; to create an objective criteria for accurately ranking fighters and endorses a consolidated weight class limit of 8-12 divisions with only one legitimate World boxing champion per category. The Press group covers fights, reports stories, provides readers with information and works together to establish a boxing pension fund, health insurance, uniform rules and guidelines and higher accountability in professional boxing administration, management, promotion and scoring.

The Boxing Group Discussion List was founded by Greg Goodrich, an avid boxing writer and sports enthusiast, to faciliate sports trivia, share updates on the sweet science and to better inform the boxing public of upcoming bouts. This forum serves as an outlet for boxing purists to share their opinions, talk about the fight game and learn more about boxing, its history, combatants and facts.
