AGM papers going out this week. Hope that you can all attend.
Attached are 'job descriptions'. Copied to Verity, Nick and Darren who have expressed interest in Social/coaching Coordinator/bar manager respectively and I am in contact with them dicsussing roles/job shares etc.
Do you think this is worth 'a punt', would you be willing to collect committee ideas and apply? I've copied to Matt Wigham (CFC) as they may also have an interest.

Dear All
Please see below a great opportunity for you to apply for a laptop and broadband for your organisation. I believe this is extremely useful for many reasons such as:
·Development Plans on line every year – a laptop would be so useful
·Working with teams on rain effected evenings
·Play-Cricket results
We have sent this to the 58 clubs on line this year give it a go!!!!!

The ECB has revised the regualtions for young fast bowlers, copy attached. Basically the under 16s can now bowl more overs and the u17s/18s/19s slightly fewer.
As we play a large number of colts in adult games we'll need to make our skippers aware of the new regulations.
Please find attached the agenda for the forthcoming committee meeting to be held this Wednesday night at the clubhouse. If you are unable to make it or wish anything to be added to the agenda, please let me know.
I was down at the club on Sunday morning sorting some training lights out for David Jenvey and I noticed the bin in the kitchen full with discarded beans etc.. It may be that the food waste was from the morning (colts etc..) and that someone was coming, in later in which case please ignore email - if not then probably best that bins are emptied on the day rather than encourage fury friends etc..

Please be available from 5.00pm. My timings at school are about the same. I'll speak again when I've found someone to open up and look after the clubhouse/share the load.
Roy/Graham/Steve/Micky - can anyone one help at all? If we can get someone on site we'll try and arrange a bar for CFC.

A good idea supported by some but the consensus is that the tickets are 'on sale' to members and that we show our appreciation to umpires and scorers at the club dinner.
I've copied to Chris Austin so that the Championship Dinner can be advertised - ticket requests to you?
Good to see you back on your bar stool - albeit only for a day!
Just a thought chaps - as you know the club has already paid for 6 tickets to the dinner on October 9th - perhaps it might be a pleasant gesture if the club were to allocate these to those who regularly score and umpire for the club as a thankyou - none of my business really I know

If there is no cricket then we do indeed have a problem in that there will be no one (eg. captain) to oversee opening/shutting clubhouse (with or without bar) for the football club for whom we have agreed at least changing (and possibly ladies toilets).
Micky/Roy.......Please could we know definitively whether there are cricket matches Sat/Sun and what soccer matches are scheduled Sat/Sun.
Committee ..... In the absence of any cricket matches are their any volunteers to 'manage' the club Sat or Sun? Given undertaking to CFC, we must at least open & shut - and possibly lock the door into the clubhouse - leaving CFC changing & showers.
I have set aside Sun am to finish clear of portacabin - any help would be welcome, Lennie may seek earlier clearance in order that he can give the three units a proper clean.
We have handover on Monday 28th 7.30pm at the club. I anticipate David/Deborah/myself/Lennie attending. Please confirm/advise to the contrary. Matt Wigham(Chair) & Graham Radford(Sec) with new Treasurer attending from CFC. Details of keys held and receipt of those keys in advance of that meeting please.
David - is there a scheduled date for return of the portacabins. You inferred that KMS were reluctant to disconnect electrics until other invoices settled. I am advised that one of their invoices has been settled, the other (with yours) has belatedly been passed from one loss adjuster (buildings) to the other (contents) for settlement. I express my regret again to you, but trust that KMS will disconnect. Details of disconnection charge please. Any joy with the other bits that I need for (contents incl. loss of business) insurance claim?

Sir
It appears at the moment we have no game on Sat, I was wondering if CFC are using the ground for a footie game, if so the
club needs to be opened and the bar manned. Has this issued been addressed.
Also can we get shutter keys for the windows please to avoid last Sundays problems
I am not sure if anyone attends this but this is for information if you do.
Kind regards
Chris

Sorry to put my boot in but ....
I think as we as Beddo have already paid some £360 for this dinner we
should be recouping as much as possible from
members attending. To this end I feel we should offer Adam Knight a
place.
I.h. was paid to umpire
Verity Hayward
scores for a Sunday team
Vivienne Hayward umpires for a Sunday team
Ian Willams umps for the Sat 3's for free and if he wanted to attend
this I would have no problems
Pat Smythe would not
be interested.
What I would feel would be a better idea is to include all those who do
not go, is to come to the Club Dinner on the 2nd free of charge.
It would cost us less and they would be with a known crowd.
We could alse sell our tickets and get money back whch we need
David
