Description
Welcome to the NEWS list for Bay Area Disc Association, the San Francisco Bay Area's new home for all Ultimate Frisbee players. ALL posts are moderated and may take a little while to appear. Messages must be related to Ultimate or other disc sports recognized by WFDF. This includes upcoming league registrations, tournament announcements, pick-up games, club team try-outs and other disc related questions or announcements. Invitations to join social networks will be rejected.
If you are interested in peer-to-peer, networking type of messages posted by Ultimate players for Ultimate players, please join our COMMUNITY list. Messages to the COMMUNITY list may or may not pertain directly to the sport of Ultimate.
This list formerly served only the San Francisco Ultimate League. Effective June 24, 2009, we have replaced its "SFUL" identity with "bayareadisc." The new address for posting to this list is bayareadisc(at)yahoogroups(dot)com. Also, "[bayareadisc]" will appear in the subect header of all messages.
Along with changing this list's identity, we are also merging memberships across lists. If you want to know more about how this will work, please read about it on our Yahoogroups Consolidation main page.
