I am fine and hope you are fine there. Infact very happy to see that your mail.

The new Seagulls team has taken a new turn with full of young and fresh blood who are eager to go.

Almost 6 guys were newly joined [ 1 of my brother friend whom i know from childhood and his friends] into this group.

Good thing is all are passionate and eager to come and play. They are never missing a single net session and are regular on time before 6:30 for every net session. We are in the initial stages of getting in touch with the game.

We almost have 7-8 good bowlers who can bat as well. The only thing is we need to get into the act at the earliest.

We played one match against sam's team in ramachandra college [porur] where we won that game very easily. they made some thing around 140 odd and we chased it very easily with only losing 3-4 wickets. we gave more extras that time and every one bowled nicely. It was a MAT wicket. Ground was very good

Next we played a match with Ramco team and we lost that match very cheaply. This was on a Turf wicket. they made 203 in 25 overs and we were all out less that 100. I played well with ball and bat [not out] but others could not play well [ as it was our second game we are in the intital stages to improve. everyone are eager to get into nets and correct their mistakes] hence tommorow we arranged a net session. probably we may play again a match with those guys in a couple of weeks.

These days we are punctual to nets and having nice fun. will keep you updated everytime after nets and match - sarena.

Note:  It is intent that we start playing regularly for which we need
some funds.  So please come prepared to pay Rs.200/- towards
subscription which will be used for further nets and matches etc.  As
you may already know a single nets session costs Rs.450/-  Thanks in
advance for your cooperaiton on this.  As we cannot meet everyday I
request that the subscription is paid tomorrow without default.
