Description
A group for the Pacific Northwest that provides the latest information for the windsurfing scenes in British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon, including the Gorge, Seattle, the Coast, the Islands, etc. The newsgroup is geographically limited to sailors who sail in Washington, Oregon, British Columbia and persons in near by states and provinces to keep topic drift at a minimum.
It is best to join through the Yahoo groups web site interface. Before you are allowed to join NW-Windtalk you must fill out a short questionnaire. This questionnaire is a mechanism to prevent spamming of the group by automated programs and to be sure that you actually windsurf in the Pacific Northwest.
New member questionnaire and group rules.
Photo: Seattle windsurfers prepare to race at Des Moines for the City League Series finale on Wed June 29 ’11. This shot is from the Pier over-looking the Marina, and shows Mark and Glenn, long-time Seattle area windsurfers. And also our very experienced Italian windsurfer, Giovanni (who’s wife Tatiana took the photo).

Re: DIY board repair advice?
I've used both wax paper and saran wrap, taping it to the board outside the repair area, then wrapping it over the repair and securing it on the other side

Re: DIY board repair advice?
Jay, can you elaborate on the wax paper thing? You just place it on top of wet glass, smooth it out and remove right away or let it dry and remove later? P.S.
